I'm running Squid 1.1 beta5 on Linux Redhat 4.0. My cache.log file is
showing numerous ERR_CLIENT_ABORT messages, and doesn't want to use
sv.cache.nlanr.net as a neighbor. Here are some sample entries:
96/12/10 13:02:10| ERR_CLIENT_ABORT: http://www.wested.org/css
96/12/10 13:05:57| 95% of replies from 'sv.cache.nlanr.net' are UDP_DENIED
96/12/10 13:05:57| Disabling 'sv.cache.nlanr.net', please check your
configuration
96/12/11 13:33:09| ERR_READ_TIMEOUT: http://www.npr.org/Clock.class
96/12/11 14:58:06| ERR_CLIENT_ABORT: http://www.lab.com/livejava
96/12/10 14:29:06| ERR_CLIENT_ABORT:
http://www.tappedin.sri.com/java/moo/patti/middle.html
Here's the entry in my squid.conf for a neighbor cache:
cache_host sv.cache.nlanr.net neighbor 3128 3130
I apologize if these are faq questions. Any info greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Brian Rankin
