I'm concerned about squids aparent inability to distinguish between
'identical' binary objects, namely n32e?????.exe downloaded from
ftp1.netscape.com.. ftp2.netscape... ftp3.. ftp4 and so on.
Different URL references for the same binary object. Obviously
this results in a huge waste of storage space.
Is it possible (ie in a later version of squid, or the next ? :) to recognise a
previously gathered copy and redirect references to the copy present in
the cache?
