Maybe Squid should just discard this page, since it is (as of the time
given by the Date: header) no longer valid. :-)
Seriously though, this behaviour is valid as of HTTP/1.0:
If the date given is equal to or earlier than the value of the
Date header, the recipient must not cache the enclosed entity.

Disregarding this header is, unfortunately, against the "law".
