While Squid doesn't handle it internally, ftpget does it very
nicely and can be set with "cache_ftp_options".
cache_ftp_options -p http://www.yourserver.com./icons/ -s .gif
You might have to rename or copy a few gifs to match the ones that
MSIE uses.
