I've noticed some peculiarities with some versions of Microsoft's
Internet Explorer (specifically - 3.0 for Win95, 2.1b1 for Mac) where
a forced reload/refresh doesn't force squid to refresh the cache
object. If a reload is done from NS Navigator (3.0), a current object
is retrieved.
This is most noticed when retrieving FTP directories - the ftpget
timestamp on the bottom is a sure indicator of whether a page is
current or not.
Anyone else noticed this behaviour? Is this a problem with squid, or
is Microsoft just screwing up like usual? :=]
(FYI - we're running squid 1.0.5 , no neighbor or parent caches).
