ftp://<user>@<host.domain>/xxxxxx doesn't work!?

I use Squid 1.0.5.

When I try URL:s like in the Subject, I get "Login failed" or something.
If I use ftp://<user:pass>@<host.domain>/xxxxxx it works fine.

If I use URL:s like in the Subject without going through Squid, it works
like it should, I get a dialog box where I can enter my password.

This must be a known bug in Squid? Is it/Will it be fixed in the new
version?
