Hi,
I'm using squid-1.0b7 under Linux (too scared to upgrade after all those
complaints about ftpget ;-) and everything is majorly cool when you're
talking to "pure" IP clients. However, we have a Novell network here too,
and they'r using some IP-IPX gateway'ing software called "Novix" so that
the PCs don't have to run two network stacks.
Anyway, they find that any accesses via the squid proxy don't return
"images" correctly - they're always cut short. Now I don't think it's
really images that are causing the problem - more likely it's just Web
requests over a certain minimum size...
Has anyone come across anything like this? I personally just want to blame
the Novix software - but who knows?...
Cheers,
