Depends on the option below.
For simplicity it's I think it's better to keep a single record per
sponsor, and moving them to the top if active for the current release,
extending the blurb when appropriate.

That would require a lot of detail on what was sponsored in each release
to make sense, and would result in quite a lot of duplication for some
sponsors.
