I agree that it is a good idea, thanks a lot for reminding us about SoC!
I think we have enough time to select a few projects and apply before
March 12.
We have a Squid Wish list at http://wiki.squid-cache.org/Features
Please post other ideas here or add them to the wiki. I will also add
project selection to the London meeting agenda.
Wasn't there a Squid SoC project a year or two ago? If yes, was it
successful? My quick search did not return any hits.
