Thats easy to test. What you need:

* a freebsd box to run squid
* a random UNIX box to run 'ab' (apachebench)

To replicate the errors I saw in earlier versions, which led to the discussion
about the weird kqueue behaviour in the first place: run 'ab' with a long
run (100,000 requests) non-pipelined, with increasing concurrency limits.
I generally hit a threshold where I'd start logging errors (1000 concurrent
connections?)

Just fetch an internal image icon (ab <params> http://x.x.x.x:3128/squid-internal-static/icons/anthony-box.gif)

I'll try to find some time this week to verify its fixed the issue.
