which is pretty critical for me (as I can't compile squid-3-CVS at the
moment with FC4-devel), I think perhaps it is time to tag another -DEVEL
release. There are probably other good bug candidates to fix before
releasing anything (#1218 springs to mind also), but I suggest that any
critical bugs which prevent the binary building and segfaulting
immediately when started up be fixed first. At least then, there is an
opportunity for other bug reports to be submitted.
Last release was tagged 17 months ago in August 2003, a lot of commits
have gone in since then. Perhaps the release of another -PRE will send
the message that that development work hasn't in fact stalled.
