Yes.

It's a 2.5 branch. It needs porting to the 3.x codebase.
It drops log entries under high volume - try polygraphing squid.

So, it needs forward porting, and then testing and issue resolution.

After that, it should be easy enough to integrate.

Some parts of it - helper restarting for instance - may be useful to
include anyway.
