It gets very messy if you try to take into account of all the different
algorithms in one single summary.
Algorithms / Protocols: (in non-sorted order)
* ICP
* HTCP
* netdb (distributed icmp pinging)
* Cache Digests
* A couple of parent selection/distribution algorithms (default parent,
round-robin, netdb, any, more?).
* A semi-functional partial CARP alike implementation
* Possibly more which I have forgotten.
* Hierarchical vs non-hierarchical requests
* always_direct, never_direct and prefer_direct (or whatever it will be
called)
I do not dare to try to write a summary of this.
